Warranty Promotion

Free extended warranty on all Avtex audio / visual products purchased from Feb 1st 2010 to May 31st 2010 - saving you £79 from the normal cost.

Our extended warranty offers a comprehensive 2 year extension to our standard 1 year warranty giving you 3 years warranty in total.

This enables you to have peace of mind that repair or replacement costs will be covered in the unlikely event of your product developing a fault.

Warranty Terms
What is covered

Avtex Limited will provide any valid repair / servicing necessary only to the registered product.

The extent of this warranty shall be to repair, service or replace at Avtex’s discretion for an equivalent product, to an operable state of use.

Period of Warranty

This warranty will provide a guarantee period of 2 years in addition to the standard 12 months guarantee supplied as standard with the product, your consumer rights are unaffected.

What is Not Covered

We would like to draw your attention to the following exclusions: This warranty does not cover breakdown of the product, or accidental damage due to:

  • Faults / failure of the product resulting from improper usage or operation.
  • Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions and/or installation guide;
  • Any external cause such as, fire, theft or weather, or faults in any electrical supply/ connection or mishandling, abusing, misusing of the product or any breakdown or damage arising from recklessness or negligence by the owner / user.
  • Any business or commercial use of the product in any form or any problem / fault arising therefrom.
  • Problems / faults caused by improper use of stands or wall brackets fitted / attached to the product.
  • Damage caused by the use of any accessory / external item together with the product, not approved by the manufacturer.
  • Cleaning / servicing / attempted repair of the product carried out by the owner or any third party other than Avtex Limited.
  • Repairing cosmetic damage where the function of the product is unaffected including, but not limited to, dents, scratches, discolouration, colour of casings & rust; or breakages of any component(s) of the product as a result of unnecessary force or by any external cause / origin.
  • This policy will not apply if the product is modified in any way or repaired by someone other than Avtex Limited or one of their authorised repair agents.
  • This warranty will be cancelled immediately in the event of your fraud, attempted fraud, or non-disclosure of any changes that affect this products normal operating usage.
