I have an older Avtex television and in France, Ireland and other European countries I can receive audio but no picture through a standard aerial

A number of years ago throughout Europe terrestrial broadcast changed to a “T2” only system, this format is not supported by your television as it only includes a standard “T” tuner.

In the UK we simultaneously broadcast on “T” and “T2” format, a TV with both tuner types will support both broadcast systems, if it only supports a “T” format it will only display this standard.

All Avtex televisions that have been introduced to the market over the past 8 years support both T and T2 broadcast standards.
